After seven years in the market, you would think that Chevrolet would have a successor ready for the Captiva; instead, the bow-tie brand has opted to prolong the life of its crossover with another dose of Botox, the second in three years. We only the see the rear end of the 2013 Captiva with its new LED tail lamps, angular chrome exhaust tips and a remodeled bumper, but Chevrolet says the front end also receives some styling love in the guise of "a lower bumper, a new grill mesh as well as restyled foglamps". Look closely, and you will also discover a new set of 18-inch wheels.
Inside, Chevrolet states that the 2013 model, which can host up to seven passengers, gains fresh seat colors, new fabrics or in upper specifications, leather seats, restyled trims in the instrument panel, and improved standard features including keyless entry and start, dual-zone climate system, an ambient lighting package and heated rear seats on certain grade levels.
