Subaru has just announced pricing for the new BRZ Coupe in Canada ahead of its market launch in June, and as expected, Canadians will pay a premium over U.S. buyers.The rear-wheel drive sports car is available in two trim levels. The base model starts at CA$27,295 for the six-speed manual and CA$28,495 for the six-speed automatic version, while the Sport-tech package has an MSRP of CA$29,295 when equipped with a manual transmission and CA$30,495 for the automatic version.
In the States, pricing for the BRZ ranges from US$25,495 for the base manual model to US$28,595 for the Limited automatic version (US$1=CA$0.9984).
In Canada, the Base BRZ gets standard HID headlights, a touchscreen navigation system with Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and audio streaming, plus smartphone integration.
The Sport-tech Package adds a number of comfort features and amenities such as a rear spoiler, fog lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, and seat upholstered with Alcantara inserts and leather bolsters.
We'll remind you that the regardless of where it is sold, the BRZ is powered by a 2.0-liter flat four producing 200-horsepower.
