We first heard about Aston Martin's plans to present a limited edition run of its DBS before the series gives its place to an all-new model a fortnight ago, and now, the British carmaker has made it official with the introduction of the DBS Ultimate.
Aston Martin has not yet said how many DBS Ultimate models it will produce (rumor has it 100 units with 30 of those heading to the States) or how much it will cost, but we do get the basic specifications.
First of all, the DBS Ultimate will be available in both Coupe and open-top Volante body styles and a choice of 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
On the outside, buyers will be able to opt from three colors named Silver Foxm, Quantum Silver and Carbon Black. The cars will come equipped with black diamond turned alloy wheels, carbon fiber mirrors, rear diffuser and tail lamp strips, a blacked-out grille, smoked taillights, special badges and a choice of yellow, red or black brake calipers.
The interior of the DBS Ultimate is dressed in black leather with red diamond stitching for the seats and door panels, and also features diamond-quilted alcantara headlining, embroidered headrests, carbon fiber trim and special gear paddle inserts in red leather.
We'll update this story as soon as Aston Martin releases more details.
